At present, digital technology is advancing so rapidly that even teenagers notice that they are living in a world of incredible innovation, smart devices and genius tools. With all of these advances in technology come some really cool gadgets. Apparently, new gadgets are being released all the time and almost everybody is using them. As teenagers have so much confidence with technology, using a range of gadgets comes very naturally to them. Now it's common to see kids teaching their parents how to use their new smartphone or record their favourite shows on digital TV!
There's no doubt technology is a valuable tool for people of all ages, for both work and play. It makes lots of things easier, it saves us time and it helps us to connect with people in other places. However, like anything else, technology can be harmful. For example, people nowadays tend to spend more time on social media sites than socializing with their friends in the real world. So, it's up to us to make our own choices about how we use technology and to find a balance so that it doesn't control our life but is right there when we need it.
